Geeky Flickr Finds: Anime Cons Coast to Coast

I decided to go hunting for geekiness on Flickr this week. I found some! Want to see:
Last weekend while I was in Boston watching John McCrea rock out Sheep Go to Heaven, just down the road others were enjoying Anime Boston. Awrose snapped this nice Angry Birds cosplay.

More geekiness below the jump!

This past weekend, anime was connected by I-90 because Sakura Con was going on in Seattle at the same time as Anime Boston. I’m amused by that. Bade-md got this interesting shot.

North of Sakura Con, in Victoria, BC there was a concert of Video Games Live (which needs to come to Boston so I can see it!) and eternalsummertime got a Nintendo DS signed by the awesome folks involved!

Jumping back to the East Coast, here’s a nice picture of the New York City apple store by Ben Gillin. So many geeks, so few iPads.

Finally, my last photo comes from across the pond by psd. Gotta give the Brits credit, I want to know what they mean! Trip to England anyone?

Geeky Flickr Finds: Link and Legos

We haven’t done a Flickr finds in a while and so I thought that I would take a look and see what fun stuff I could find. Fortunately, geeks are always on the internets and always posting things, so enjoy this mini collection of geekiness from Flickr!

Martyn Hutchby has this wonderful photo of a lego guy playing his Xbox. That has got to be one cute little controller! More pictures behind the cut!  More

Geeky Flickr Finds: PAX East 2011

So, Dawn and I ran around PAX East for three days and had a blast. However, we were so busy that we didn’t take any pictures! Fortunately, lots of other people did, so here is a smattering of what we saw and did through the joys of Flickr!

Nerdfest here we come!

Thanks CasualCapture for the great logo! Come on into the post to see the rest!

Geeky Flickr Finds 1/4/11: By Riker’s Beard …

Time for some great geeky stuff that I found on Flickr!

R2D2 is ready to help you manage your devices! Isn’t this a cute little USB hub? Maybe art3mis4 will tell us where they spotted it! Three more great geeky pics after the jump.  More

Geeky Flickr Finds 12-20-10

We are getting close to the Holiday season, and being a little bit excited about Christmas, I have some geeky Christmas pics for you all!

That’s the best kind of star for a Christmas tree. Lady Madonna is all ready for the season.

We’ve run into the Geek with his feet up before, but you’ll notice now that he’s all decked out for Christmas with lights. Kirk is keeping an eye on them, ready to call Scotty if one should go out!

I love this picture of just out of focus lights. When I used to decorate our tree with the Mothership, we would both sit on the couch across the room, take off our glasses (we both have pretty awful vision like Patrick Hoesly, and my astigmatism is legendary), and make sure that the lights were well spaced and the colors matched up correctly.

Finally: Domo as Santa! Love it, TC Harrison, just love it!

Happy Holidays all!

Geeky Flickr Finds 12/14/10

I love hunting down fun things on Flickr! Today’s finds are terribly amusing, well, to a geek!

I’m not sure what this crowd of angry geeks was angry about, but they seem pretty relaxed for such a big sign! Maybe MrReebdog could explain. More after the break!

Disney Flickr Finds

Disney week continues with some great shots of Disney, Disney related stuff, and things that remind me of Disney. Oh, there’s a cute baby, a troll, and some Tron in there too! Let’s kick this off with Mickey though!

Jennifer Yeung found this Mickey in NYC. See, he hides out everywhere! I’m not sure why Mickey’s all yellow, maybe it’s an Epic Mickey thing.

Three more coming right up!  More

Flicker Finds 11/1-11/8

I’ve just notice that the Flickr Finds have been much neglected lately. Therefore, here is their triumphant return!

Gotta love the proud Geek Girls! Keep it up Punk in Writing!

Want some more? Three more after the jump!  More

Geeky Flickr Finds 10-19-10

Whew, I am way behind this week! That’s what I get for traveling, but it was fun. I was actually down where they filmed No Country for Old Men in Texas. It was fun, but busy and therefore lacking in the internets. I miss you guys! Therefore, I make up for the lack of my presence with two day late pretty pictures while I try to catch up on written posts. Fortunately, there is all sorts of geek to be found on Flickr this week and here are just a few for your viewing enjoyment.

This book is on my Christmas List. Props to thaths for meeting the author Jeff Potter, seems like an interesting guy!

Geeky Flickr Finds 10-12-10

Time for some Flickr finds! We just got finished with a very geeky weekend with New York Comic Con, a Supernatural Convention, and IndieCade, and probably other things I am not thinking about. Therefore, the geek quotient on the interwebs is high right now! Lots of great stuff to choose from. Hope you enjoy these!

I’ve never seen such delicious looking legos! Check out the rest of Profound Whatever‘s stream for other great lego creations. More
