Timewaster Tuesday: Rebus Puzzles

Things are a little crazy right now, so just a quick timewaster for you!

For years, some of my favorite puzzles have been Rebus Puzzles. You may have seen these around. They have words that are placed in such a way as to make a phrase if you can figure them out. I like them because you have to think outside the box to consider how they work. Check out the above example. There are two littles and two lates. You see where this is going? Too little, too late. Here, try another one.

For this one, you will notice the word “deep” within the word “thought” therefore the phrase is deep in thought.

I could give you more, or I could direct you to a website with these two plus about 98 others to play with. Really, it’s a fun site.

Want to waste even more time? Create your own! Maybe we can make a slew of awesome geeky Rebus puzzles. Any ideas?

Dag nabbit! Now I’m going to be staring at one of these all day. And then someone is going to walk by and tell me the answer in 3 seconds, and then I will have to either kill them or cry.
